Kate Rodgers intermittently blogs at waxlyrical.net discussing elearning and technology and other topics of personal interest. this podcast is my first attempt at making a podcast, and is a conversation between myself and my friend Damon, a philosopher/writer who twice deleted his Masters Thesis on the day it was due for submission. Listen to the podcast to find out why.

Note that there are a couple of swear words, an annoying metronome for part of the record that I don't know how to edit out, and some silly ramblings about an "upside down letter E".

I'm researching social software, blogs and e-learning for a Masters degree in Perth, Australia. I'm particularly interested in the ways educators are using blogs and podcasts for teaching or professional development, and is always interested to hear your comments, complaints and thoughts on the adoption of social web technologies, particulary within the political realm of institutions. This site is my experimentation with podcasting, seeing how well GarageBand fares as a podcast tool and also practicing my interviewing skills.
